Hi guys, I'm David Dwyer senior and this is a few words about being more Eco Friendly.
We've all seen David Attenborough and the sad polar bear pics and thought we should do something about global warming.

Here's a few simple suggestions of how we can do that:
By now you will be aware of LED Lighting. Historically, not the best lighting, which put a lot of people off, but the years have gone by and the advancements in the technology have been very good. Anybody not using LED lighting these days is literally burning money. The electricians among us have a ready made, easy to use additional income stream that's going to make you money and save your customers money on their bills. Something which is so topical it will be hard NOT to sell.
Smart systems is another great income stream for electricians. Simply by your customers

switching lights off when they leave a room at home they will save money. This is another double whammy because as an electrician you can install the smart technology system for them and make money whilst saving your customers money on their bills. What's good for the energy bills is also good for the planet and lowers the carbon footprint so good for the polar bears.
Think about how you use your hot water including storage of it. Having used energy to heat it you should try to keep it hot for as long as possible. Obviously the way you

heat your hot water is also very important and if you have room on your roof or land to install a solar thermal heating system you will save money on your energy bills. These systems work very well with unvented hot water cylinders and can provide lashings of hot water in a short space of time. A bit like having a power shower without the need for the power is these unvented systems will deliver hot water at mains water pressure.
